SPICY CAJUN CRISPY POTATOES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. Baby Red Potatoes

  • Pinch of Kosher Salt

  • Olive Oil

  • LouWe.siana Blends Spicy Cajun

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Set the oven to 450°

  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into quarters.

  3. Bring about 3 quarts of water to a boil and add kosher salt. Just needs to be enough water to cover the potatoes.

  4. Add the potatoes to boiling water and boil for 10 minutes.

  5. Strain the potatoes.

  6. In a mixing bowl, toss the boiled potatoes in a drizzle of olive oil, and season with LouWe.siana Blends Spicy Cajun! The more seasoning you add, the spicier they will be!

  7. Shake the mess out of them until there is a mashed texture to the outside of the potatoes. This makes them get really crispy.

  8. Line the sheet pan with parchment paper, and lay out potatoes.

  9. Bake for 20 minutes, toss them around, and then continue baking for another 20 minutes.


This method does take awhile, but it is worth the wait! They will be crispy with a melt in your mouth center. Feel free to add more Spicy Cajun after cooking for some extra kick!
